The YUNTROVE Kendama Challenge 2026 (“Contest”) is sponsored and administered by YUNTROVE (“Sponsor”).
This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with TikTok.
2. No Purchase Necessary
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
A purchase will not improve an entrant’s eligibility, ranking, or chance of receiving a prize.
Confirmed winners will receive their prizes at no product cost. Winners will not be required to purchase a product, use a discount coupon, or complete a TikTok Shop purchase in order to receive a prize.
3. Eligibility
The Contest is open to:
- Legal residents of the United States; and
- Individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
The Contest is void where prohibited by law.
Employees, representatives, contractors directly involved in administering the Contest, and immediate family members of YUNTROVE personnel are not eligible to participate.
4. Contest Period
The Contest begins on August 20, 2026, when YUNTROVE publishes the official challenge announcement.
The Contest closes on:
August 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Hawaii Standard Time (HST).
Only eligible entries and valid engagement received before the deadline will be considered.
Potential winners will be announced on:
September 1, 2026 (Hawaii Time).
5. Challenge Options
Participants must choose ONE of the following challenges.
Challenge 1 — Beginner
Pull-Up Spike
Challenge 2 — Intermediate
Clown Spike
The two challenges are part of one overall Contest and one shared prize pool.
There are not separate prize rankings for the Beginner and Intermediate challenges.
6. How to Enter
To submit an eligible entry, a participant must:
- Choose either Pull-Up Spike or Clown Spike.
- Record an original video showing the participant successfully completing the selected trick.
- Publicly post the video on TikTok during the Contest Period.
- Tag the official Yuntrove Kendama TikTok account.
- Include #YuntroveKendamaContest in the post.
- Keep the entry publicly viewable until winner verification has been completed.
Each TikTok account may submit:
ONE challenge and ONE eligible Contest entry only.
Participants may not submit one entry for each challenge.
Following YUNTROVE is encouraged so participants can receive challenge updates, but following YUNTROVE is not required to enter or win.
7. Valid Trick Requirements
The selected trick must be clearly visible and successfully completed in the submitted video.
YUNTROVE must be able to reasonably verify the attempted trick and successful landing from the video.
The successful trick may not be digitally altered, generated, composited, or edited in a way that falsely represents successful completion.
Normal video editing is permitted, including:
- Intro or outro footage
- Music
- Captions
- Slow motion
- Camera cuts outside the successful trick
Such editing may not misrepresent whether the required trick was actually completed.
Participants may use any legitimate kendama unless YUNTROVE specifically states otherwise.
8. Valid Engagement
Only authentic, organic TikTok likes will be counted for purposes of this Contest.
The following are prohibited:
- Purchased likes
- Purchased engagement
- Bots or automated engagement
- Fake accounts
- Duplicate accounts created or used to inflate engagement
- Paid engagement services
- Like-for-like groups
- Coordinated engagement groups
- Paid TikTok Promote
- Paid advertising used to increase the performance of a Contest entry
- Any other method intended to artificially inflate engagement
YUNTROVE reserves the right to review engagement activity.
If YUNTROVE reasonably determines that an entry has benefited from artificial, fraudulent, purchased, or manipulated engagement, the entry may be disqualified.
TikTok may also independently remove invalid engagement.
Only engagement visible and reasonably verifiable by YUNTROVE will be considered.
9. Reaching 100 Likes
When an eligible Contest entry reaches 100 or more TikTok likes, the participant should send YUNTROVE a TikTok direct message containing a screenshot showing the qualifying video at 100+ likes.
For purposes of determining priority for the four Additional Prize positions:
The timestamp at which YUNTROVE receives a valid qualifying DM will be the official qualifying time.
This means the Contest does not attempt to determine the exact second at which TikTok displayed the 100th like.
Instead, ranking for these qualifying positions is based on when YUNTROVE receives and verifies the participant’s DM.
A screenshot alone does not guarantee eligibility.
YUNTROVE may verify:
- The participating TikTok account
- The public Contest video
- The visible like count
- The video posting date
- The DM timestamp
- Compliance with these Official Rules
10. Prize Structure
A maximum of five participants will receive prizes, subject to the number of eligible Contest entries received.
Grand Prize — Top-Liked Eligible Entry
The eligible entry with the highest verified organic TikTok like count at the Contest deadline will receive:
2 YUNTROVE Horizon Series Kendamas
This participant is referred to as the Grand Prize Winner.
Four Additional Prize Winners
Up to four additional eligible participants will each receive:
1 YUNTROVE Horizon Series Kendama
Priority for these four positions will be given to the earliest eligible participants who:
- Reach at least 100 valid likes;
- Send YUNTROVE valid proof by TikTok DM; and
- Successfully pass YUNTROVE’s eligibility and engagement verification.
The official order will be determined by the time YUNTROVE receives the valid qualifying DMs.
11. Grand Prize Winner and Additional Prize Positions
The Grand Prize Winner does not occupy one of the four Additional Prize positions.
If a participant initially qualifies for one of the four Additional Prize positions and later becomes the Grand Prize Winner at the Contest deadline, that participant will receive the Grand Prize instead.
The now-open Additional Prize position may then be offered to the next eligible participant in the verified 100+ like qualifying order.
12. If There Are Not Enough 100+ Like Qualifiers
If fewer than four eligible participants, excluding the Grand Prize Winner, qualify for the Additional Prize positions by reaching 100+ likes and submitting verified proof before the deadline, YUNTROVE will fill the remaining prize positions using final valid like counts.
Eligible participants who have not already received a prize will be ranked from highest to lowest according to their verified organic TikTok like counts at the Contest deadline.
The highest-ranked remaining entries will fill the available positions until either:
- All four Additional Prize positions are filled; or
- There are no additional eligible entries remaining.
Each selected Additional Prize Winner will receive:
1 YUNTROVE Horizon Series Kendama
There will be a maximum of five total winners, including the Grand Prize Winner.
13. If Fewer Than Five Valid Entries Are Received
If fewer than five valid Contest entries are received in total, YUNTROVE may award prizes to all eligible participants.
The participant with the highest verified organic like count will still receive:
2 YUNTROVE Horizon Series Kendamas
Each remaining eligible selected participant may receive:
1 YUNTROVE Horizon Series Kendama
No additional or substitute winner is required if fewer than five eligible Contest entries exist.
14. Tie-Breaking
If two or more eligible entries have the same verified like count when ranking is required, YUNTROVE will determine their order using the following criteria:
- Quality of trick execution and control;
- Cleanliness of the successful landing;
- Clarity of the submitted video; and
- Earlier eligible entry posting time, if a further tie-breaker is required.
YUNTROVE’s good-faith determination will be final for purposes of Contest ranking.
15. Horizon Series Prizes
Contest prizes are from the YUNTROVE Horizon Series.
Product construction:
Beech Wood Ken + Beech Wood Tama
Prize colors and available colorways may vary.
Prize colors will be selected by YUNTROVE according to available inventory at the time of fulfillment.
Winners are not guaranteed a particular colorway unless YUNTROVE expressly agrees otherwise.
Prizes are not redeemable for cash.
16. Winner Verification
All announced winners are considered potential winners until YUNTROVE completes verification.
A potential winner may be required to confirm:
- Name
- Age
- Eligibility
- U.S. residency
- U.S. shipping availability
- Ownership or control of the participating TikTok account
- Authenticity of the Contest entry
- Authenticity of the engagement associated with the entry
YUNTROVE may request reasonable information necessary to verify these requirements.
17. Winner Notification
Potential winners are expected to be announced on:
September 1, 2026 (Hawaii Time).
YUNTROVE may also contact potential winners through TikTok direct message.
Potential winners should respond within 48 hours of YUNTROVE’s winner notification.
If a potential winner:
- Does not respond within 48 hours;
- Cannot be verified;
- Does not satisfy eligibility requirements;
- Violates these Official Rules; or
- Is otherwise disqualified,
YUNTROVE may offer the prize to the next eligible participant according to the applicable ranking method.
18. Prize Fulfillment
After a winner is fully verified, YUNTROVE will privately request the shipping information reasonably required to deliver the prize.
Personal shipping information will be collected only after winner verification and used for purposes of prize fulfillment.
Confirmed winners will not be required to purchase a YUNTROVE product or pay a product purchase price to receive their prize.
YUNTROVE will provide reasonable standard prize delivery to eligible U.S. winners.
19. Public Contest Entries
Participants acknowledge that Contest entries must be publicly viewable on TikTok in order to participate.
Entries must remain publicly accessible through the winner verification period.
If an entry is deleted, removed, or made private before YUNTROVE completes verification, the participant may no longer be eligible.
20. Permission to Repost Contest Entries
By entering, participants give YUNTROVE permission to repost, reshare, feature, or reference their Contest entry on YUNTROVE-owned social media channels for purposes related to:
- Promoting the Contest
- Announcing winners
- Highlighting community participation
- Sharing Contest results
Where reasonably practical, YUNTROVE will credit the original participant.
This permission does not transfer ownership of the participant’s original content to YUNTROVE.
Participants must have the legal right to publish any content submitted as part of the Contest.
21. Disqualification
YUNTROVE may disqualify an entry or participant that:
- Does not successfully complete the required trick;
- Submits more than one Contest entry;
- Attempts to enter both challenges from the same account;
- Deletes or makes the entry private before verification;
- Provides false or misleading information;
- Uses purchased or manipulated engagement;
- Uses bots or fake accounts;
- Participates in coordinated engagement manipulation;
- Uses TikTok Promote or other paid promotion on the entry;
- Attempts to interfere with Contest administration;
- Violates TikTok rules; or
- Violates these Official Rules.
22. Contest Administration
YUNTROVE intends to administer the Contest in a fair and consistent manner.
YUNTROVE may verify information reasonably necessary to determine:
- Eligibility
- Validity of an entry
- Validity of engagement
- Prize ranking
- Winner status
If fraud, abuse, technical issues, TikTok platform changes, outages, or other circumstances outside YUNTROVE’s reasonable control materially affect the operation or fairness of the Contest, YUNTROVE may make reasonable adjustments necessary to preserve the integrity of the Contest, subject to applicable law.
23. TikTok Disclaimer
TikTok does not sponsor, endorse, administer, or have responsibility for this Contest.
TikTok is not responsible for:
- Contest administration
- Participant eligibility
- Winner selection
- Prize fulfillment
- Disputes between YUNTROVE and participants
- Claims arising from participation
All participants remain responsible for complying with TikTok’s applicable Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, and platform requirements.
24. Acceptance of Official Rules
By submitting an eligible Contest entry, the participant acknowledges that they have read and agree to comply with these Official Rules.
Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
